No. Scarecrow is manufacturer-neutral. We select equipment around the site, required views, environment, recorder, network, budget, and long-term support needs.
Can you work with cameras we already own?+
Often, yes. We first verify compatibility, condition, credentials, firmware, network access, and whether the existing equipment can deliver the result you need.
Can you fix a system another company installed?+
Yes. We can document the current system, recover access where possible, test cameras and cabling, repair failed pieces, replace the recorder, and recommission the installation.
How much recording storage do I need?+
That depends on camera count, resolution, frame rate, compression, motion activity, and required retention. We calculate storage as part of the system design.
Will remote viewing work before you leave?+
That is part of commissioning. We configure approved users on phone, tablet, or desktop and verify access during handoff.
Do you install residential systems?+
The site is focused on commercial, institutional, industrial, and multi-site environments. Contact us if your property has commercial-scale requirements.
